Our Verdict
The Cosori TurboBlaze performed marginally across the board. It has a 6-quart capacity and a sleek, modern design. That said, it ran consistently low, dried out chicken during our test, and failed to produce impressively crispy fries or tots. Pair this with the fact that it is on the high end of the price spectrum, and we couldn't recommend this model. Other air fryers in our tests offer a much better price to performance ratio. Our Analysis and Test Results
The TurboBlaze is an average air fryer. It has a 6-quart capacity and is very quiet when in use. We like that it is easy to clean and the control panel is fairly simple to use. However, it has a higher price tag and doesn't offer the performance to match the investment.

Cooking Performance
Despite their claim to be the next generation in air frying, the Turboblaze performed below average in testing. It created a slight crisp on the tater tots, but the center was not as fluffy and tasty as we experienced with other models.

This trend continued with sweet potato fries. The cooking time was longer than other units at 17 minutes. And while there was a slight browning, the crispiness was marginal. We also found the interior was more fibrous and displeasing than other air fryers created.
The donuts we made had a crispy exterior but a slightly doughy interior. The chicken was a bit dry and stringy. Overall, the Turboblaze did not wow us in any of the cooking tests.
User Friendliness
This Cosori air fryer received high marks for user friendliness. The touchscreen buttons on the top of the unit are responsive and easy to use. The display does show fingerprints, but they are easy to wipe down.
We also liked the overall quality of this fryer. The handle is comfortable, and all the components feel very sturdy and long-lasting. The fry drawer is easy to open with a simple push of the handle button.
We measured the Cosori at 11.6" x 11.5" x 14.3", meaning it will take up a decent amount of counter space but also fit almost any type of food.

The Turboblaze has numerous preset options and a temperature range of 90-450 degrees. The most unique presets are dehydrate and proofing options. Being able to maintain a temperature of 90 degrees is ideal for bread baking, but it would need to be a very small loaf as the basket is rather small.
Ease of Cleaning
The Turboblaze was very easy to clean. Both the basket and the crisper plate have a non-stick coating that wipes down very easily. Unlike other Cosori air fryers, the crisper plate on the Turboblaze does not have any ridges or grooves. This prevents food from sticking and makes clean up easy.
Temperature Accuracy
This air fryer consistently ran about 10 degrees cool in all testing. It wasn't the worst-performing air fryer we've ever tested, but it was not a top performer.
The low temperature explains the longer cooking times and doughy doughnut interior. You could technically adapt to this by increasing the temperature, but overall, there are more accurate and better models available.
The front of the Turboblaze reached a temperature of 130 degrees, which was below our threshold of 140. In fact, it maintained the lowest outside temperature of all units tested. If the outside temperature is a top priority, the Turboblaze can't be beaten.
Should You Buy the Cosori Turboblaze?
The Turboblaze did perform well in many of our tests. It's easy to clean and maintains a cool exterior surface. It did not do as well in the cooking tests as other models and runs consistently low.
Being able to smoothly open the fry basket is a key feature.

What Other Air Fryers Should You Consider?
There are other air fryers that provide better performance and price. For nearly the same price, you could get the Instant Vortex Plus which performed incredibly well across the board and produces juicy chicken and crisp donuts. But, if you're trying to stick to a budget without sacrificing cooking performance, we recommend the Ultrean Air Fryer. This unit makes just as great food, but is a little less user friendly.
