Our Verdict
The Rexing V2 Pro AI is three camera dash cam that captures the front, rear, and inside. Each has an impressive 170-degree field of view (FOV), and two even swivel in place to find that perfect angle. The interior camera is ideal for those who rideshare as its IR night vision will keep an eye on things. However, this device didn't provide the most impressive footage quality. It was often washed out by the sun or oncoming headlights. Regardless of the time of day, we struggled to make out license plates and road signs.

Our Analysis and Test Results
The Rexing V2 Pro AI boasts three cameras at a 170-degree field of view (FOV). Its interior camera has infrared (IR) night vision that clearly captures the entire cabin. However, its overall video quality is lacking as it is grainy and easily washed out by bright light. It includes features like G-Sensor, WiFi connectivity, and cameras that swivel in place.

Video Quality
The Rexing V2 Pro AI includes a whopping three cameras: front, inside, and rear. Each of these has an impressive 170-degree field of view, among the widest in our tests. It has a standard resolution of 1080p. This camera is far from the mark when it comes to video quality.

During the daytime, we could only make out the license plates of cars that were parked directly in front of us. The device picks up a lot of glare and often gets washed out by bright lights. At night, the plates were hidden behind a wall of graininess, even just a few feet away. When a car approaches, the headlights drown out the footage to the point where making out the vehicle details is tough.
Video Capture
Though we weren't too impressed with the video quality, the Rexing has an impressive internal camera. This has IR lights for night vision and captures the entire cabin. The V2 Pro has an auto-on feature, which turns the camera on as soon as the car starts and records in one, three, or five-minute clips. Once on the move, the G-Sensor is sensitive enough to pick up a quick hard stop. The system doesn't have a battery, so it'll always need to be plugged in. However, it does have WiFi connectivity to make video transfers a breeze.
Interface
The V2 Pro interface has large, tactile buttons that are easy to use. Getting to the menu is straightforward, but once there, it gets complicated. The menu has a lot of settings, 12 on the first page and 15 on the second. Interacting with the camera takes a bit of concentration as you'll need to click your way through all the options.

Visual Footprint
The Rexing is among the largest in our lineup, with a length of 6 inches and a width of 2.75 inches. It is attached to the windshield by an adhesive mount. The front and interior cameras swivel around at 330 degrees, so getting the right angle is a breeze. If a cord dangling down from your windshield isn't your thing, an additional hardwire kit can be installed for a cleaner look.

Should you buy the Rexing V2 Pro AI?
The Rexing V2 shines with its three-way camera system. The internal IR night vision is great for those who rideshare often or need an extra layer of security. However, this isn't the best option if you need to see license plates or road signs in your footage, as the video quality is lackluster.
The V2 Pro has a 2-inch LCD screen and two cameras on either side. Buttons below the screen help control the device.

What other dash cams should you consider?
The Vantrue N2 Pro Uber Dual and the Miofive 4K did an exceptional job with video quality. The Miofive boasts 4K resolution with its single camera, while the Vantrue has two cameras at 2.5K. These were both capable of clearly capturing license plates at all hours. The Garmin 57 is less than half the size of the Rexing and easily blends into its surroundings. The Garmin includes features like lane departure warnings, GPS location, and voice commands.
