Matt Rowe

Growing up in the historic Appalachian river town of Huntington, WV, Matt pursued a degree at his father's alma mater: Marshall University. A semester abroad in Japan led to a pursuit of work in East Asia, including a move to Korea shortly after graduating in 2008 to teach English. He spent a total of 8 years working, traveling, and accumulating too many hobbies before returning to the USA to finish his credential in Elementary Education. Eventually, he returned to his home state of West Virginia, where he has transitioned into the field of computer programming. When not staring into the void of JavaScript through a code editor, he enjoys observing the native flora and fauna on forest hikes, learning to whitewater kayak, cooking gourmet meals with his partner, experimenting with amps and pedals, and laying around with his dog most of all.
