Jessica Haist

Jessica grew up in the suburbs of Toronto, Canada, and has traveled and lived all over the continent. She has her Master's Degree in Adventure Education at Prescott College, where she studied experiential and environmental education methodologies. She researched and wrote her thesis on curriculum for success in the outdoor industry.

She has worked as an outdoor educator and guide for the last 18 years across Western North America. She utilizes technology for her work in the outdoor field and at home when recovering from her adventures. She enjoys skiing, backpacking, and creating ceramics. She has migrated to the Eastern Sierra in California and now resides in Mammoth Lakes with her husband and one-year-old son.
